Frequently asked questions
What student populations do you work with?
I support students from Early Childhood through age 22, including Elementary, High School, and Transition programs.
My background also includes work in self-contained therapeutic and severe/profound settings.
Do your services require a full-year commitment?
No. Contracts can end at any time- for example, when a district hires a full-time psychologist. My goal is always for students to have consistent, full-time support; I’m here to assist districts in the interim.
Do you offer in-person or virtual services?
All testing in the Chicago area is conducted in-person.
I offer virtual assessments across Illinois and in some other states, depending on licensure reciprocity.
Do you carry insurance and required credentials?
Yes. I am a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) and hold an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with both a School Psychologist and Director of Special Education administrator endorsement.
I also maintain professional liability insurance as an independent contractor.
Do you only help with evaluations?
No. In addition to evaluations, I can also provide consultation and administrative support. With my Director of Special Education endorsement and administrative experience, I can assist with:
Administrator-level consultation and project support
MTSS data analysis and Tier 2/3 intervention planning
Student problem-solving
What are your rates?
Rates vary depending on service type. Most districts choose per-evaluation flat fee rates, but I also offer hourly rates.
